Customer Service Representative Job Description

Our growing skin care line is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a customer service & shipping representative. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each customer. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

The Customer Service Representative attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products that will best fit their needs. Respond to customer questions via email, online chat & on social media (Facebook & Instagram).

Position is 35-40 hours per week. Pay is : $12.00 per hour.


  • Answers incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product inquiry, service questions and general concerns.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every person.
  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
  • Impact the company’s bottom line by helping customers and potential customers find the products they need.
  • Manage incoming calls, online chats, emails and questions on Facebook & Instagram.
  • Handle questions, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges
  • Suggest solutions when a product doesn't work, or when someone has a question about a product they need. (We'll help you learn the ropes!)
  • Helping with the processing and shipping of orders on larger shipping days.


  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
